Pros

Free lunches, snacks, drinks, lots of free swag distributed regularly, shiny new offices, and telecommuting options. Lots of people have been there since it opened its doors.

Cons

Team Managers really don't have great skills. Senior Management keeps a steady flow of new faces that never really seem genuine or truthful. If but only IF...you are friendly with the right people you have huge amounts of levity.

Pros

-Weekly staff lunches -WFH / Remote stipend

Cons

-Frequent layoffs/uncertainty about job security—you're never sure if you're next. -The product is difficult to sell when other companies offer similar services with stronger reputations -The company culture feels bland and not very diverse; employees often seem disengaged and uninspired -Offshoring to India -Too many acquisitions within a short period of time, which makes company feel disjointed. The company claims it's "not doing well," yet continues to buy other companies and has executives traveling frequently. -Clear disconnect between different teams which causes a lot of frustration

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you’ve found value in the benefits we offer, like weekly lunches and remote support. That said, we recognize and take seriously the concerns you’ve raised. It's hard to address all of your points here, but we do our best to address some. We understand that organizational changes, including acquisitions and restructuring, can understandably create a sense of uncertainty and disconnection. We do our best to manage this by prioritizing regular communication — including company-wide All Hands meetings and our ELT “Ask Us Anything” sessions — where employees can receive up-to-date information and ask questions that may be on their minds. We also hope that anyone experiencing stress or discomfort due to change or uncertainty will take advantage of the resources available through their benefits, which are there to support their well-being. With regards to acquisitions and travel, travel is relatively limited at Planview. However, we recognize the important of in person collaboration where it is needed and will prioritize this as appropriate. Please talk with your functional leaders about travel opportunities and planning if you see value in an in-person meeting. Our recent acquisitions help ensure our combined offerings support organizations at every Project Portfolio Management maturity level and are aligned with strategic goals. Lastly, while we did invest in growing our team in India significantly in 2023, but we continue to invest in APAC, North America, and EMEA. As a global organization, we will continue to base where we hire on strategic goals and objectives and look forward to growing our teams globally.
