Pros

Plethora is at a stage where the seeds that were sown early on are starting to bear fruit and move toward solid, scalable products. It's a highly creative environment engaging many different kinds of thinking during a given work week. Technical challenges straddle computational, mechanical, and material domains. How these are met requires broad strategic thinking from a production and business POV. Given the evolving nature of such a complex and nascent product, a proactive approach will be richly rewarded in that you will engage many different ways of trying to solve the problems at hand, which is extremely rewarding.

Cons

No organization is perfect. These are challenging problems and there are growing pains. That said, part of the fun is meeting the challenge and seeing hard work pay off.

Pros

I love that Plethora is working to create real and applicable solutions to real problems. As a start-up with an open and encouraging environment you're able to take ownership of projects that interest you and feel that your contribution is directly helping in the success of the company. Team members are great to work with and are largely the reason why I enjoy working at Plethora.

Cons

For the most part, normal growing pains of a start-up. Being a young company the structure is rather loose which leads to lack of accountability when standards and processes are not met and/or followed. Management is very transparent as a whole but communication between individual teams could be improved -- also related to the loose structure.
