Pros

Very comfortable, laid back and mixed culture of super smart people. The interview process was pretty fast for me and very open. They offer lots of cool perks, have an exceptional benefit package, and they also pretty pay well. The staff is super nice and warm welcoming!

Cons

I don't have any cons other than it's not right off the Bart system but, not too far away. The industrial area of the Dogpatch, doesn't offer many options for food, banking, coffee shops, shopping, etc. Since they're a startup, they still have some learning to do when it comes to best practices processes, but again, they welcome feedback and insight, which is great!

Real people solving real problems

Pros

My favorite part of working at Plethora is the people I get to work with. There are creative, driven people on every team, and their passion shows both in their work and their personal projects. I love that we have our own in-house shop at the factory - seeing people build their own bikes, bookshelves, plant walls, etc... always makes me smile. The company provides catered lunches twice a week, pays for a takeout delivery service the other three days (you buy the meal, they pay for delivery & tip), and a generous amount of paid time off. Compensation and benefits are impressive across the board.

Cons

Being at a startup is sometimes grueling. I've seen people on multiple teams pulled into working hours long enough that it has negatively impacted them.

Pros

- No jerks, good people who are fun to be around - Real problems to solve - no busy work - Supportive environment (teamwork, fully stocked kitchen, ping pong table, outdoor picnic area and fire pit) - Surprisingly good pay and benefits, especially for a growing company

Cons

Not a lot of structure yet, but expected of a growing tech company
