Pros

Good benefits and PTO, depending on which site you're at will depend on the perks; Opportunity to move up in the company, which is great, but requires patience; Management is pretty good depending on what region you're working at.

Cons

They're client focused so some bullying can occur from corporate clients. Regional Managers expect you to take it, and HR steps in when things get out of hand. Though HR can be helpful, they do not know what really goes on at the site level. The company cares more about renewing their contract more than anything

Pros

Wonderful company! They provided me with all the skills and help I needed during my internship. I was really able to learn how a corporate fitness facility worked. Later into my internship they would trust me to take control of certain projects with plenty of helped. I learned so much more than I did earning my Kinesiology degree. After my internship starting as an exercise specialist was completely seamless. They offer an education stipend to continue with certifications which is great! Everything within the company is easy to access since it is all online. Great company to work for!

Cons

The only bad thing is the hours. At times the facility didn't close until late, and you really got no say over what hours you worked as a full-time employee.

Pros

great clients, steady and easy work, work life balance is good if you make it that way and don't train 24/7. the pay for training is pretty decent

Cons

no growth potential and extreme favoritism. benefits are horrible and no 401k match, work almost all holidays (loved being open for thanksgiving with one person on a treadmill), only 2% wage increase a year regardless of performance. Managers only care about themselves and not developing employees. I was there for 6 years and had trouble moving up when I was more than capable of doing the job. some people would start part time and in six months be assistant managers with no real reason. Ideas are constantly stolen from you and used to benefit others. salary is a joke but you can make more with more training. I joined when they were all about the clients, since being taken over those values have dissipated and it is all about the $$$.
