Pros

They'll try to be nice.

Cons

When there is a conflict, they'll say they hear you and just try to brush it off. No national holidays and PTOs are not enough. Being here for 6 years and a new hire out of no where gets paid way more with a higher title. That person sits there making personal calls out loud, being here for several months, making literally no contribution and saying he is still learning, absorbing and dipping his toes. FUN!

Pros

You can read and study any machine’s description and purpose at anytime without having to wait for clearance from Managers or Training Specialist.

Cons

Polar has the worst training program of any tech company I’ve ever worked for. They are too cheap to put together a training team of specialized trainers, instead they allow regular machine operators who have no experience training new or current employees train their coworkers. Being that most fab workers who work in fabs now days are foreigners, especially African or Asian, most of the foreign workers have not learn how to speak the English language properly , causing miscommunications and resentment within the workplace. Most are foreigners who show bad behaviors if you are one who can learn faster than they can train, and instead of showing appreciation or praising new employees for learning exceptionally well, these regular coworker trainers create false perceptions and narratives about you for being a swift learner who can immediately create high performance within the workplace. These folks only care is receive a trainer bonus if you make it through their 8 month unlawful training period.
