Pros

The people who work are friendly, compassionate, and encouraging to work with. You are treated like family and are respected for who you are and what you stand for. You are able to cross-train and work in another department, if you are willing and able to and are praised for your hard work and dedication to helping the company succeed. Flexible hours depending on position.

Cons

The lower paid positions have more flexibility with hours. Spend more time traveling sometimes as a BHT then I would like.

Pros

Some BC/BCBA's are great to work with and foster a collaborative environment. Working with children to help them move in a positive direction is rewarding. Interacting with different school districts/daycares creates networking opportunities and collaborative relationships.

Cons

Lack of leadership within management/supervision roles, hours being cut without notice, difficult (sometimes traumatic) challenges with cases with no support from management, lack of responsibility taken on managements behalf for putting staff in potential legal issues, disability discrimination against its employees with accommodations, retaliation for bringing ethics concerns to HR, false write ups in response to filing HR complaints, unethical discharge/changes of services for families, improper data collection/documentation procedures and gossiping of clients families in office.

We appreciate your feedback and are disappointed that your experience with Ponessa wasn't successful. Our team collaboration and leadership are often areas that employees value here. At times, lead consultants and supervisors have to make clinical and practical decisions based on individual case needs and client success. Our goal is to actively operate under state regulations and company policies/ procedures to ensure consistency for all employees and consumers. We will continue to make that a priority. Thank you
