      Its a utility, so its basically a monopoly so its stable and you can work there forever if you don't anger the wrong people. They pay well so if you don't care how you are treated its fine.

      They spend a lot of money on coffee and meals, at taxpayer expense

      Cons

      Totally incompetent I.T. Management staff, even asking employees to deceive internal customers. One lead developer that has a long tenure is extremely rude and any/all ideas not his are dismissed.
