Pros

PGE is a supportive environment with lots of good people. It's mission-driven, so there is a lot of emphasis on transitioning to reliable clean energy. Lots of smart, hardworking people. Compensation is competitive in this market and the company provides excellent health and retirement benefits.

Cons

Lots of things you can't control -- storms, extreme heat, etc -- that can kick the company into crisis mode. Those periods can be stressful.
