My experience was disappointing. The role was presented as something with more ownership, influence, and strategic involvement than it actually had. In reality, it often felt like internal expertise was ignored, decisions were made without enough practical input, and problems were handled reactively instead of thoughtfully. There was a lot of confusion around ownership, accountability, and who was actually responsible for fixing issues. Too many decisions seemed to come from people who were not close enough to the day-to-day problems, which created unnecessary complexity and frustration. Instead of empowering employees to solve problems properly, the environment often felt political, slow, and overly dependent on outside opinions. Communication was also a major issue. Priorities shifted, expectations were unclear, and it was hard to feel like good work actually mattered. There was a gap between what leadership said they wanted and how the business actually operated. Overall, it felt like a company with potential, but one that struggles with execution, trust, and internal alignment. If you are someone who wants clear ownership, strong communication, and a practical path to getting things done, this may be a frustrating place to work.
