Pros

Most of the people are nice and easy to work with. Compensation is average to above average and healthcare is free.

Cons

Product is outdated. It's based around PowerBuilder, which hardly anyone uses anymore, and the front end of the application is not friendly to end users. Lots of turnover this year. Lots of travel is required unless you live in Atlanta and can find an opportunity in the office. Management is spotty and young.

We’re happy to hear you enjoy working at PowerPlan. We have designed a very competitive benefits package, which reflects our commitment to hiring the best and the brightest. In a fast-growing organization, the pace of change can be both exciting and a little overwhelming, but PowerPlan maintains open lines of communication with its employees. If there’s an issue you would like to discuss, please feel free to request time with HR or your manager.

Growing and exciting company

Pros

The people and work environment is amazing! People love coming to work. They have very good compensation rates compared to similar jobs and definitely very good benefits (including unheard of health care benefits). Very open, learning environment. There is a ton of group work but they only hire extremely brilliant people so they also expect everyone to be self sufficient and independent. It is a very fast growing company so there is also a large potential for growth in the company.

Cons

They expect a lot from its employees and even though we are all very hard workers, it is a lot of work and can be exhausting at times, especially with the added travel. As they are growing, there are some growing pains in terms of how to handle defining roles, training of new hires, and keeping that homey feel yet still becoming a large cooperation.
