Pros

- Great opportunity to rapidly accumulate a great deal of experience implementing then leading software Professional Services Projects - Very smart & motivated employees, however standards continue to fall re: new hires in line with compensation (not new trend but escalating) - Positive regulatory/business environment headwinds (Lease/Tax Reform) will almost certainly keep the company growing regardless of management's actions - Nice office with snacks in solid location by the new ATL Braves stadium

Cons

- Software platform (Powerbuilder) is a joke and the new SaaS platform remains behind schedule, or worse on schedule as a time bomb waiting for whomever first implements it. - Remodeling the office, then consolidating from 2 to 1 to 1.5 to 0.5 to 1 floors (not joking, it's a disaster) has totally eradicated work culture in the office along with demonstrating that the entire idea was not at all well planned by management

Pros

Excellent culture of collaboration and helping colleagues out in their projects. Challenging work involving data analysis, software configuration, and data conversion at large clients. Many clients have had a long relationship with PowerPlan which leads to trust between the companies.

Cons

The work can be overwhelming when first starting out due to not being as familiar with the functional side of accounting and the technical side of PowerPlan's software. If you are uncomfortable with doing your due diligence in researching solutions to your questions and then asking questions when needed, you can easily get more lost. Don't be afraid to ask questions and be open with your PowerPlan colleagues in order to succeed on your projects.
