      Pay, amount of vacation time, teammates, free cont ed online

      Cons

      Unable to use said vacation time, poor communication, unrealistic and unethical expectations, crappy insurance, took away continuing ed benefit, work all holidays including Christmas and thanksgiving, pay for your own REQUIRED background check, no license reimbursement, majorly micromanaging, no 401k match, cannot use PTO to compensate for hours lost if dept is slow.

      Genesis is located in a nice town.... That's about it

      Cons

      There is no communication between upper level management down the line. Constant wage freezes due to over extension in China project and lawsuits for malpractice. No 401K match in 6 years but according to both GHC and GRS ( Genesis Healthcare and Genesis Rehab Services) its a discretionary match which is how they get out of providing it. Salaries are inconsistent and paid at lowest level possible. If you are not part of the original "click" you will not be promoted. Constructive criticism is not accepted although it is asked of you. The company this year laid 10% of its overhead with another layoff on the way. Do yourself a favor and look for another healthcare company to work at. The benefits are also EXTREMELY expensive and have terrible coverage.
