Pros

wonderful co-workers, able to purchase cheap employee lunches

Cons

(1)unacceptable response time on PTO requests and annual reviews. (2) unable to use PTO time: often denied especially around holidays. Employee has to beg, barter or bite the bullet. Favoritism runs ramp-id in company.(3) no raises (4) Expects employees to perform job duties that are not considered part of rehab then barks about productivity (5) when census is low, the company pimps out employees to other buildings. Often no option to decline and leave early. (6) Unethically high focus on productivity that when numbers are crunched leaves you with little to no down time. I find it hard to believe anyone can hit target productivity quota every day and not take a bathroom break, fix computers as they are down often, . High minutes and no refusals. Co expects employee to perform patient education on patients that may refuse, even if they have severe cognitive issues so they make their minutes.

Pros

Salary.... they will pay premium if merited and if they are in a pickle.

Cons

They don't know what they are doing in attempting to absorb the Skilled and Sun purchases. The culture is broken and there is not vision for the transition. They may be the biggest...but a crash is coming if they do not course correct. Regional Leadership teams are political and unorganized. Actual support to operations is limited as a result. Policy and procedures are difficult to locate and frequently not implemented... and it is an accepted practice.
