Pros

If you are having personal issues within your family, they will work with you and adjust your schedule if you need to.

Cons

Most of the time for the amount of work that they want you to complete, the time limits are not realistic. The pay is not bad for an aide starting out but in the long run it is better to move on else where or further your education.

The best reasons to work here are the residents. Love my fellow nurses as well. They make my day, everyday.

Cons

Administration. She has no clinical experience and only sees dollar signs. Our facility could be 5 star as long as wiser decisions are made on staffing and environmental issues.

The money was better than nursing homes I have worked in.

Cons

This place was understaffed, the management didn't seem to do much when there were issues. Back BREAKING work and no not your typical nursing home back breaker. AGAIN understaffed, I still have nightmares about working there and having to take care of dozens and dozens of people alone. Too many agency workers coming in over time with bad attitudes and having no idea where to go or what to do. Mandatory overtime is a real thing and it will probably give you a heart attack. There should be a LAW against having an every day understaffed nurse and CNA team when having to work mandatory overtime. It was bad for my family, my mood, and my health to work here.
