      Pros

      Lots of resources available, large company with many growth opportunities, education available for staff, many different career tracks, expanding/growing business.

      Cons

      Systems are inefficient, decisions are made without input from the field, departments seem to be disconnected - right doesn't know what left is doing, not very strategic in planning and decision making, reactive, lost sight of staff and customers. iPods and desktops make documenting difficult.

      Pros

      Like most places in healthcare now, your coworkers are the only pro.

      Cons

      Very poor, expensive benefits, no tuition reimbursement, no matching 401k, new (poor)documentation c the same productivity expectations, poor pt care c emphasis on rugs and keeping Medicare pts well beyond their appropriate D/c.

      Excellent health care benefits. Flexibility in work schedules. At some facilities, a good atmosphere of mutual support among employees.

      Cons

      High stress, low pay, especially at higher professional levels. Chronically understaffed.
