A great place to work for I worked for this company for 5 years and everyone was like family even the residents become your family. I loved coming to work every day and I never had a job like that in my life. They treat all residents like their own one of the greatest nursing homes in RI.

Cons

The management and pay they don't take to many things seriously some things were out of line at times I was being harassed by one employee and they did nothing not one thing grievance after grievance and nothing was done . I was treated like total poo by this one upper management this one particular management even treat at the residence like poop and not one thing was done so I had to resign my position and go to another facility.

The only enjoyable experience is the residents, and lunch is provided for day 1

Cons

Very high turn over rate. Most new hires leave within the first few months. Pay is very low. They try and pay CNAs 12 to 13 an hour, for doing the work of 2 or 3 ppl. They're always offering bonuses but look for excuses to take them away, if they even try to put them on your check. Nurses didn't make much more, lpns 18 and rns 23 Benefits take 60 days before they kick in, and are very expensive. Management doesn't stay long either. Poor communication between the different departments. Have to work every other weekend. Heard this location would be closing soon, good riddence Some of the residents have pets. Management tries to take them away. Do yourself a favor, you do not want to work for genesis, let alone this location. kitchen had a roach infestation, pipes are always bursting, bathrooms are disgusting and clogged. U never get to take your lunch break because it is so understaffed, then U get written up for not taking it. U do not want to work here, or put anyone u love here.
