Pros

I have worked in a couple of buildings and had a great experience. Attentive and caring manager. Area manger was also very approachable and down to earth. I have even seen area manager work in the buildings to treat patients when someone was off. The facility I worked at is contract so genesis had no control on the nursing care there but rehab was great.

Cons

I am surprised to see some very negative reviews. Has to be some disgruntled coworkers. Nothing unusual about the productivity requirements. I did not get a lot of pressure if my productivity was low once in a while but they expect it to not be low all the time. Time off process is a pain but I did get some last min request approved as well.

Close to home, few good co-workers who worked well together with a positive attitude Pay was reasonable

Cons

Poor teamwork, Other members took many breaks until month-end, requiring others to help them close the books at month end - caused a great deal of conflict as it required those who kept up with their work to work OT when it wasn't necessary. Insecure personalities, Controller (Ken C) was excellent at his job, but unfortunately listened too much to the others who gossiped too much. No follow through on what was promised upon hire
