Understaff,,cheap,, management sucks,,,not professional

The particular center I work at (Kresson View) is very short staffed, especially for the evening shift that I work. Human Resources seems to be trying to keep up with hires, but the turnover rate is just awful for reasons too long to list. A huge contributing factor is that our upper management can be unsupportive and practically encourage patients to treat the nursing staff as if we are maids or servants. I also would like to point out that we are expected to host meal services alone and act as waitresses, rather than having dietary aides do this, and this part of my job description was not expressed to me before I took the offer here.
