The patients ran wild, there were no rules. The mid level practitioners were hostile. Frequently did not have the supplies to do the job whether it was dressing supplies, drugs, or even glucose test strips. Upper management directed nurse managers to write nurses up before the nurse had an opportunity to tell her side of the story. The management people who were supposed to be on call for issues either turned their phones off or did not return calls. Management was arbitrarily punitive, nurses were disciplined for minor things while the "pets" could do no wrong. I found the entire experience negative.
