Pros

I have excellent coworkers. Current pay is reasonable. Vacation and personal days are interchangeable and flexible. I can choose my daily schedule and work around things.

Cons

Cutting vacation days by 2 per year starting in April in order to "save money." Wireless infrastructure is pitiful, which leads to difficulty with documentation. Communication between Rehab/Nursing is poor, and inclusion of therapy staff in events for whole building is made to not feel welcome. Vitality2You program needs restructuring to make it viable and helpful for rehab staff.

Pros

Great opportunities to form friendships and bonds with coworkers and more importantly the residents. Giving the residents a sense of contentment and a source of happiness during their stay.

Cons

Salary should be more appropriate for the amount of work that is done in Dietary. More often than not it is nonstop compared to the nursing pace.
