1. Unions protect against retaliation from managers. hmm 2. Talented and educated group of workers. 3. SURS (pension) - though its hard to live off of 65% of nothing
Cons
1. Philosophy: That's the way it has always been done. 2. They don't disclose the salary until they offer the job (don't try to look at other colleges, they pay much less) 3. No growth opportunity
