Pros

Smart people, nice new Engineering Tech Center

Cons

Very political, archaic time-keeping system (ie must work 8 hours a day with no ability to log any worked past 8) yet if you work 10 hours on Monday you can't move 2 of those hours to Friday and leave a bit early...no incentive to go above and beyond yet management fully expects that...told expectation is to exceed annual performance goal by ~20%, when I told of my expectation for meeting the stretch goal was ~10% raise, was told that can't happen....it can the company just won't..really not a great place for career growth unless you a politically connected internally and willing to work 24/7

Pros

The company makes a cool product

Cons

The company has recently mandated unpaid overtime for an indeterminate amount of time for salaried engineers, with no actual reason provided as to why. Pay has not come even close to keeping pace with inflation. Management is unable to even acknowledge real concerns of bureaucracy, terrible digital infrastructure. The only focus is attracting new talent, there is no attempt made to reward existing employees. The company makes a song and dance of asking employees for input, but makes no attempt to correct any issues. Infrastructure is embarrassing, onsite buildings are falling apart.

Pros

-Really cool projects -A lot of smart and talented coworkers -PW paid for my master's degree (and they would have paid for an MBA too if I wanted one). -Extra PTO if you're working on your master's. -Good amount of PTO (at least compared to other places I've worked). -Opportunities to be recognized for doing good work (monetary rewards).

Cons

-Raises are essentially just adjustments for inflation -Working 40 hours/week is the exception, not the norm. -No amount of hard work or dedication will decrease your chances of getting laid off when the company decides it needs to reduce the size of the workforce. -If you're doing classified work, there are some work locations that are *painfully* outdated.
