Pros
I've worked for a number of companies as both an individual contributor and a front-line manager. I've been a manager here at Precisely for a month, so things are pretty fresh, but everything I've seen says that this company is more human, more accessible, less formal, more responsive, less rigidly structured, and more open to taking the time and space necessary for good, informed decision-making. It's a cliche, but employees here really are treated as individuals. The management structure is very flat - the focus is on getting the work done.
Cons
So far, I don't really see any. Funding for niceties is less extravagant than at some other companies. We're entirely remote (at least for the time being) so there isn't a water-cooler to hang out around. There's been a lot of growth-by-acquisition, which leads to upheaval and change - if you can't deal with change, this isn't the place for you.
