Pretty decent facade, but terrible inner workings

Pros

-Pay was good, as were the bonuses -Moderately stable amount of work -Decent amount of PTO time -Work from home capability (limited)

Cons

-Benefits kept getting stripped down every year and cost more to boot (UMR is garbage) -Heavy, heavy turnover -In recent years, kept around truly abyssmal employees through fear of lawsuits, but levy their own no problem -If you're a moderately attractive Account woman, prepare to fail upwards at a record pace. The incredibly vain President blatantly plays favorites -Weekend work is expected and planned for nearly 3/4 of the year due to Merck. Work/life balance is shot -Good people have been leaving voluntarily or are pushed out of the company by catty and manipulative Merck Account people who wield entirely too much power -Bad employees hang around and push their work off on the good ones who are still around -Advancement opportunities are very low since the company isn't growing and it's the only way to keep direct reports in existence -Gladstone President's unchecked ego and feigned sincerity when work concerns are raised

Pros

There are genuinely good people within the company, but your experience largely depends on the team dynamics and the effectiveness of your manager. The quality of your experience is significantly influenced by these factors.

Cons

The office culture could be best described as catty and hostile. There was constant gossip and exclusion that made it really hard to feel like part of the team. I felt very excluded and dreaded going into work. My manager yelled in meetings to publicly humiliate me. Their relentless criticism gradually stripped away my self-worth. There were times I found myself crying in the bathroom or at lunch due to the overwhelming stress and bullying I experienced. It was a tough environment to navigate emotionally. The stress from working at the company was so intense that I had to seek therapy to cope with it and I am still not sure if I have recovered from the trauma I experienced working here. Overtime was the name of the game, and it wasn’t just a once in a while thing. We’re talking intense, long hours week after week. What’s worse, management never really hinted at slowing down. It was all about meeting deadlines, even if it meant sacrificing our sanity and well-being.

Soulless, Sinking Ship of Robots

Pros

the former agency was once a great place to work

Cons

3 RIFs in 10months and gross incompetence at a leadership level. Under the 'new brand' they have obliterated anything once good and are systemically promoting the robots. Or former college volleyball teammates who can't lead their way out of a paper bag. Don't believe a word they say. STAY AWAY!!
