Pros

- Most of the people here are super respectful and nice to work with (contrary to what some of the other [outdated?] reviews say). - Everyone works really hard and genuinely seems to care about the quality of what we do, which gives you energy/motivation to do the same. - Great compensation, often surprise food+drink parties, fun company meetings. - Opportunity for growth; people seem to move up at a good pace, and that may partly explain why they also tend to stick around.

Cons

- The environment feels very office-y (well, it is an office), but maybe more so than your average ad agency. It's super quiet most of the time, and though there is socializing, it's mostly with the two or three people you sit near, and then otherwise at those company events. There isn't always the kind of energy / excitement you'd expect at an ad agency. - Things can move slowly sometimes. It feels like things have to go through several tiers of approval before they funnel into your list of TODOs, and then it's even slower to communicate things back up the hierarchy. My understanding is that as the company has grown, this has become a growing characteristic of the workflow around here, and I guess that's not surprising, especially considering we've been under a much larger corporate umbrella for a few years now. - Sort of related to the last point, there are actually a LOT of meetings, and many of them are redundant. Those meetings chop up the workday and make it hard to focus on longer tasks. Meetings are important and all, but it feels like people here are sometimes trigger happy to schedule one for every little reason. Thankfully, there are a few good samaritans who aren't shy about asking "Do we really need a meeting for this?", and if there is no clear defense, the rest will most likely be fine with calling it off.
