Pros

Our training, coaching, and mentoring are outstanding. Even I went from an IT know-nothing to being able to discuss the latest technologies. It’s exciting to watch new entry-level associate recruiters from very different academic backgrounds quickly become experienced IT recruiters! We work with a lot of interesting companies -- some of the largest IT shops in Fortune 500 companies in the US (my fave industries are technology sales and financial services). But, what really keeps me here, is that we get to know and help great people… whether it’s candidates, consultants who’ve worked with us for years, or the fantastic hiring managers at our clients. Whether texting with managers, or hearing about our consultants' new babies, or kids growing up and going off to college… We build long term relationships!

Cons

Some recent grads might prefer to work for larger companies. But, we do offer greater visibility, the ability to interact with senior leadership, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Pros

I have had a great experience at Precision. This company is packed with top talent and everyone is eager to learn and continuously improve on processes. Management is hands-on and supportive, and recruiters value candidates.

Cons

None at this time with Precision.

Pros

- Close knit friendly office environment - A wonderful place to learn the ropes of IT recruiting (and sales): you can literally walk in day one with zero marketable skills (other than a degree) and be successful if you are motivated - No egos, posturing, or office politics - Good compensation structure (uncapped) from the start - Management is willing to change based on feedback - Ability for consistent financial growth correlated to individual "hustle" - Job Security: Precision has been consistently working with established clients for decades - You can directly impact your paycheck, more so than most jobs - FREE OFFICE LUNCH(!!!) once a week - Genuinely decent, good natured people (coworkers and management)

Cons

- You need to be intrinsically motivated (don't get into commission based IT recruiting if you aren't) - Limited upward mobility (in terms of job responsibilities, not your paycheck): it's a smaller office where ownership is still very hands-on in the day-to-day operation. - Not a rapid growth oriented start-up (you are not getting in on the ground floor) - Perhaps overly reliant on a few "big fish" clients - Don't expect 9-5 (more like 9-7 + availability after hours) - Not much changes (both a "pro" and "con") - High turnover (typical of the recruiting field)
