Company in transition, stay away from HR

Pros

Great company, but if you're looking for HR opportunities, it's NOT the place to be. Good size to navigate in and company has (or used to) have a real sense of community. Also great at supporting a culture of health and wellness. Pay is OK, but can definitely earn more and get better benefits/PTO in other places.

Cons

Can't speak about what it's like to work in other areas, but the HR department is one of the worse I've seen (and I've been in many HR depts). Poor leadership who can't set strategy or direction and it shows in so much "starts and stops" with the work. Sad that we've lost so much great talent and bringing on folks who are only "yes" people to the leader.

Work / Life balance, Flexible hours, great pay, great communicators, great benefits, treat their employees well, working remotely, carpooling, too many perks to list!

Cons

Layoffs are always hard, but its not personal, its a business decision. Its what a successful company has to do in order to stay competitive in business.
