      Lacks values placed on long term employees

      Pros

      Pay is only slightly below market value. They do offer extra money in order to attempt to get staff to work extra that feels like I am valued.

      Cons

      They do very little to show appreciation for long-term employees. They did a big party with an outstanding dinner for long-term employees in the past, and they have cut that out. Poor staffing ratios, unable to take break. They’ve outsourced their food and housekeeping, and the quality is very subpar.

      Busy ER with pleasant atmosphere depending on team

      Pros

      Depending on who was team leader would set the tone for the night. Assistant nurse manager Ohl was always out helping during busy times and was a great mentor. Some of the older nurses were not very helpful, but there were enough people to help with difficult patients and Dayton PD and campus PD were always around

      Cons

      Pay is average, patients could be exhausting depending on the section. Inpatient psych admissions could be boarded downstairs for a long time which required a lot of attention
