Pros
MVH is a prestigious hospital in the area. It is a level 1 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and a heart and vascular emergency center. There is a certain bragging right to work there.
Cons
The upper leadership is making some really questionable choices. They are completely disconnected from those that are doing the hard work to maintain the reputation of the hospital. The pay is on the low end. They’ve recognized this and done some pay increases based on the job market in the area. However, they have not included team leaders or educators, so we are missing out on a significant increase in pay.
