      Caring co-workers. Always work to be done and incentives offered if you can help out at other hospitals. Mentally strengthens a person emotionally because it shows you things could always be worse. That could be a pro or a con depending on perspective.

      Cons

      If you have not worked in healthcare, seeing some of the trauma can be difficult. Mentally it is a struggle when you see people very sick or see someone die.
