Pros

Friendly Staff Plenty of incentives (offered by outside companies)

Cons

Essentially 0 training Metrics assume you are a busy location and all bonuses are based that way Slower locations NEVER have a chance to win incentives or get bonuses Upper management completely detached, no understanding of store operations.

Pros

None to share at all.

Cons

Very cheap company. Under pays employees. Never volunteer your own money to do anything, you will not get reimbursed.

Pros

The work environment was comfortable. Co-workers were usually great. The pay wasn't horrible. If you were a good sales person in a high traffic store you could make money. There were great competition between stores. Recognized for hard work on a lower level (managers and district managers). Training about products and plan features was usually okay.

Cons

The top office wasn't on the ball with anything. If you had great ideas, trying to implement them was a nightmare, even if the manager and district managers agreed with you. The expectations sometimes were out of this world. Unfortunately, you can't make customers come through the door. Hard work was not recognized by the senior level executives. They will walk on you if you let them. Was running a store with no manager, doing the management work for sales associate pay. I was the only person to apply for the management position and didn't get it. Spending your own money for lead tables, displays, signs etc. was allowed but there was absolutely no compensation for it, even if it increased sales. Getting commissions after you left (suppose to be paid 6 months after leaving) is impossible. Don't expect any money after you are gone. Going from part-time to full-time is okay but going back is impossible. Was told I could stay on part-time but after 2 weeks of not being scheduled I was told I couldn't come back.
