Thank you for sharing your experience with ProCare Therapy! We're glad to hear you’ve found the pay to be competitive during your time with us. We understand that the 10-month work schedule can be a challenge, and it's something that comes with the nature of school-based roles. That said, we’re always exploring ways to provide added support and flexibility for our professionals year-round. If you ever have ideas or feedback on how we can improve, we’d love to hear from you directly!

Pros

ProCare Therapy was a great place to learn sales and build a strong foundation early in your career. There were/are leaders who genuinely cared and did everything they could to support their teams. The culture used to be full of energy that pushed people to grow. The structure and systems in place made it easy to stay focused and succeed, especially when the desk model gave AEs freedom to build.

Cons

Once segmentation was introduced, AEs lost control over where and what they could work on. It drastically shrunk pipelines and made desks feel restricted and limited. As a “veteran AE”, It’s noticeably harder to get deals now. Many AEs especially newer ones, are struggling to grow, even when they are doing the right things. Older AEs are just hoping they are able to keep their legacy business from the past. Some managers earned their roles, but others were clearly promoted through favoritism. That’s hard to ignore and frustrating for those working hard for a shot. A couple department managers who probably shouldn’t have been promoted (if we went on merit) have power trips, and the gap between upper leadership and day to day teams keeps widening. Great people have already left, and I know more are likely to follow in the coming days. What was once a strong culture is now full of doubt and frustration. Every problem seems to be met with a new contest or incentive, like we’re in high school. It feels out of touch with the real challenges AEs are facing. I truly believe this is all the department managers do during their days is plan these games. It’s a ridiculous waste of time. We’re adults. There doesn’t need to be a game for everything. Time should be spent elsewhere. But again these people weren’t hired off merit so they couldn’t ACTUALLY lead a team like they should. What’s hardest to watch is how avoidable this all was. ProCare used to be special! People (including myself) bought in, worked hard, and genuinely cared. But this shift has pushed many away.
