Pros

Co-workers; able to roll PTO; remote/hybrid options available for some

Cons

Very hard to get a decent promotion or raise; lack of newer technology; performance reviews mean nothing because everyone outside of the clinical area gets the same 2-3% every year

Pros

The people who work here are genuinely good, caring, empathetic people who are understanding of work, personal, and other difficulties and always make themselves available to help as long as you are extremely transparent and communicate in a very clear and timely manner.

Cons

The phones and computers given to employees are 10 years old and have malfunctions constantly. You are required to enter in your hours, type of activities performed, and date everyday even though you are on salary through 1 software, you are required to enter your mileage and costs for reimbursement on a completely different software, and your commissions are paid 45 - days after the end of the month in which the commission was earned. Newer and highly successful companies have learned that meetings are becoming more of a waste of time than productive and hold them only when truly necessary; This company has team calls more than once a day everyday and the meetings are rarely strategic, they are more like cheerleading sessions - very little valuable information is actually exchanged. They are not very open to new ideas or implementing new technologies that would greatly reduce time spend filing out reports and data entry and increase productivity and allow for individuals to spend more time on tasks that build the business. The staff often wears many hats so it is difficult sometimes to get the assistance needed. Emails come in from all the regional offices and HQ regarding their daily, weekly, and monthly performances, which has no bearing on the activities for our office, so our inbox becomes overloaded with emails and sometimes important emails from clients slip through the cracks. It is not the worst place in terms of micromanaging that I have experienced - unless you make a few mistakes and then it increases, even though they tout themselves on not micromanaging when you first start. Whether or not you are in a clinical position, you are required to take online courses monthly that are designed for people with clinical backgrounds (approximately 10 hours give or take). Overall, approximately 1-1.5 hours are used to enter data and information that could be cut in half with modern software.
