Be wary!

Pros

The people you work with are the best part.

Cons

They like to talk about work/life balance but not all managers share that philosophy. Raises are only 2% - not even a cost of living increase. Everyone is short staffed and over-worked. Staff that are the most liked are praised. Those that work the hardest are just given more work. When I first started, I would highly recommend Promedica to others. Once I was treated poorly when downsized, I'd tell people to be wary.

Just a number

Pros

None really other than getting a paycheck

Cons

If you wanna feel like you’re just a number to HR, this is the place for you. There’s too many cooks in the kitchen all spouting orders in management and HR doesn’t give you the time of day. You are literally known as a number to HR. Employee 12345…nope…had to get out. Oh and they require flu vaccines as part of your employment. Bet the require the new one too…nope…not forcing me to do that just for the sake of having a paycheck. Keep looking!

Pros

Pros? Hm… well, you’re surrounded by people just as miserable as you so it’s easy to bond with coworkers. Also, Promedica is incredibly pro-quiet quitting. I’ve actually just started myself.

Cons

If you’re a hard worker- like genuinely. And you care about people/patients, Promedica will soon drain you of that. All of that. You’ll get tired of being the only one doing anything and you’ll get tired of caring since no one else seems to. I came to Promedica a little over 2 years ago and it’s only been terrible. Pay sucks. Staffing sucks. Patient ratios are unsafe.
