Pros

The crew I work with are a dedicated bunch - everyone cares deeply about not just doing your best job in your own right, but cross collaborating with others to ensure that your own work directly contributes to the overall success of the whole. This means regularly revisiting procedures to find bottlenecks and addressing them, team efforts to meet goals and deadlines, and regularly calling out opportunities for improvement. Most of all, however, I find that I really enjoy working with temporary employees on assignment. Being able to help them feel supported makes a huge difference in how they experience working, and it's gratifying to hear from temporary employees that your work makes a positive impact. Additionally, in the time I've been here I've gained a lot of industry knowledge I didn't have coming in from the tech space. There's a lot of cross-training that happens so that in the event someone is out sick, there is a plan in place to ensure the work continues. Finally, since I've started the team has debuted a much more simple and effective performance evaluation system.

Cons

I'm seeing a stronger push to improve work-life balance and host more fun team events, and think the team should keep up that effort.

Pros

While there isn't a work from home policy, the leadership team are flexible and has accommodated various working arrangements if enough noticed is given. This company isn't for everyone but if you enjoy working with great colleagues and being challenged, this is the right fit for you! I've been given so many great opportunities to work on projects that were outside of my comfort zone and have developed me professionally.

Cons

Hours are 8am-6pm, however, if you had to leave a little early or come in a little later, just work with your manager.
