Pros

People: Some employees are great, and you can make lifelong friends with kind, honest, and hardworking individuals. Training & Development: Opportunity to learn and take on new tasks that will prepare you for a better opportunity and working environment. Or growth within - depends on how you look at it. PSG will use you, but use PSG. There are a lot of learning opportunities if you are a hard worker. You can gain experience and build your resume to work for a good company that appreciates you and offers more. Many who have worked at PSG now have amazing jobs at fantastic companies.

Cons

People: Some employees behave horribly, and it is known and accepted by management. In fact, the majority of these people are managers. You'll be disgusted that you have to work alongside some who have extremely low morals, a dishonest nature, and pure laziness. Pay: Hardly any Work/Life Balance: None Micro -Managed Environment

Pros

PSG is a place where you will either sink or swim. You will be given all the tools to succeed, but you definitely have to apply those tools in order to stay above water. If you don't apply yourself, you won't be happy or successful here. I really appreciate the strong management team, as well as the sound structural framework of the company. You know exactly where you stand with regard to metrics and performance - the management team does not shy away from healthy conflict or difficult conversations to make you a stronger employee! I have really learned to open myself up to these discussions in order to make myself a stronger employee.

Cons

PSG, like many agencies, works long hours. Not really a surprise, as we are here to service clients and keep up with their hours. The nice thing about the office is that you don't take it home at the end of the work day. You may be in the office for 12 hours a workday, but you won't have to work weekends (usually!) Also, not endemic to PSG, but the staffing industry as a whole is very stressful.

Pros

How I learned the processes and the work was mapped out well and the learning curve was realistic. Everyone is very supportive and it's great to be in an organization that shares and celebrates the successes. There's access to the management for questions, clarification, and coaching - all of which is encouraged. Plus, they're open to all feedback and innovative ideas. I feel like I'm part of a team.

Cons

The days are very long - it can make it difficult to plan for other activities during the week - however, the positive side to this is that it's predictable and consistent.
