Pros

Good base pay and benefits My coworkers and direct managers were great but they're gone now so unfortunately I cannot increase my stars for this reason

Cons

The company has been accused of nepotism (rightfully) in the past; instead of fixing this issue they have dismantled the rest of the company and now only the nepotists are left, along with some poor souls doing their best. Their approval of their own games depends strongly on their current "vibes," and they have strongly overestimated their own ability to deliver or lead a team of any kind. Taking on too much risk in the covid years has turned into a deep distrust of any game that isn't obviously a smash hit, and if you know game development then you know that every game goes through a period where it is uncertain it will make it at all. When their prototypes hit this point the execs inevitably get cold feet and dive out.

Pros

Some of the best and brightest minds in this industry work at Probably Monsters. There is no lack of talent here and my coworkers make me want to come to work every day.

Cons

The CEO of Probably Monsters needs to reconsider whether he should really be in this business anymore. His increasingly more frequent ignorant kneejerk reactions are causing his company to fall apart.

Pros

Good salary, flexible work schedule, ample time off.

Cons

Communication is non-existent, no accountability from leadership (e.g. layoffs), rampant nepotism, HR policies changing for the worse (e.g. return to office), compensation other than salary is vaporware, no career advancement opportunities.
