Pros

The ability to work most of the time your OWN hours. The way your work is reported either via the internet or sidekick (similar to the palm pilot). To work for a company that most people know of the products and some of which have been around for many many years such as Tide, Olay and Pamper's.

Cons

The lack of hourly pay that you receive as a merchandiser. The inability to be included in retirement incentives or 401K savings. No medical coverage offered for part-time employees

Pros

The disciplined thinking and learning is tremendous; it makes a big difference when you leave Procter. The training they provide helps you no matter where you go. AG, the CEO, is a tremendous, principled leader who exemplifies the way every CEO should lead -- egoless, great work ethic, caring. It's simply the best marketing company in the world with the best training.

Cons

1. It's headquartered in Cincinnati, which isn't the greatest place to live. However, you can save money by living there and there are many opportunities to work overseas.2. They need to move faster.

Pros

Procter is a good place to work, learn and develop your career. P&G is a global company so you will work with people from all around the world that will be excellent. You will learn about diversity and how to think like a winner. Great training company. Also you will have the opportunity to be next to the future leaders in all the different industries.

Cons

Extremely conservative company. Benefits are falling behind vs. the rest of the world, and the environment feels like a company from the 80's. They are trying to change, but company is risk adverse, so all your entreprenuers ideas may not fly here.
