Pros

The salary was above average. Most of the time there was more work than I could handle. Gave me the opportunity to feel like I was actually making a difference. My clients were wonderful people. I had some really great case managers.

Cons

No benefits. When case came to an end, it was possible to be without a new case for quite some time. Te saying, "the squeaky wheel gets the oil" is fitting with this employer. Also there is some mis-communication. Once I had been taken off a case and no one bothered to let me know. It made for a very awkward beginning of shift for everyone: the client, his family, the nurse who had been assigned in my place and for me.

Pros

Great Pay and Love the clients they are always nice and friendly. Have yet to get a bad report for my work ethics from my clients. Sometimes going the extra mile for those who are unable to do so is all that matters.

Cons

Unorganized and unprofessional at the managment level with the way staffing is handled. Do not care about hearing concerns from their staff concerning staffing. One Staffing Coordinator in particular thinks that he/she can speak to staff in a very unprofessional manner and expect the staff to not say anything in return. THEY SEND YOU AROUND THE WORLD AND NO PAY FOR MILEAGE FOR CNAs AND THEY DO NOT CHECK LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION BEFORE CALLING STAFF TO WORK IN OTHER STATES!!!

Pros

You make good money, but that is with any company serving these patients.

Cons

Evil company. As many are saying Management/Case Managers in all of their offices expecially Oak Ridge, TN will come after you if they feel threatened by your good works. I was called into the office, never recieved the phone call, showed up at my pt house with another nurse there-they had fired me-then I had to submit my personal phone records to prove I didn't recieve the phone call.-No applolgies, they said, "Oops". Went through so much humiliation plus lost all my patients that took 6 months to get to full time status, 2 weeks loss of pay. I also just about got shot at by a family"filling in" because they didn't tell the family the regular nurse isn't coming. There nothing but drama, power trips, and money, NOT patient focused care.
