MAKE SURE THEY'RE TAKING OUT STATE TAXES!!

Cons

They didn't withhold my state taxes from my state of residence. Upon filing taxes in '24, I was presented with an $11,000 bill for state taxes NOT withheld. WHAAAAT???? I have spoken with other nurses from same agency that they had a hard time with schedulers, and quality of lodging being unacceptable.

One on one patient care. Flexibility in hours and locations. Overtime available but not required. HR and case managers generally easy to get ahold of.

Cons

Pay check frequently messed up. No 401k. Health insurance wasn’t the best.
