Pros
Established company (over 40 years). Established HR practices and procedures. Not much stress, but depends on which team you are on, avoid SItefinity. Bonuses and a lot of benefits (remote work, parking, gym, 30 days vacation, etc)
Cons
They buy a company or two each year, without any vision or connection to the overall strategy (I believe there is no overall long term strategy at all). They fire 30-40% of the old company and try to squeeze what they can into Progress, but I do not see how a .NET component vendor, FTP end-cilent software company, Chef build tool, etc come together at all.
