      Good Salary but Over Worked

      Salary Pay Annual Bonus Equipment Provided for Work From Home

      Cons

      4-6 new claims per day, average rolling workload of 80-140 claims at any given time. There are not enough hours in the day to complete work as assigned, leading to "incentives" to work 7 days a week to complete tasks. Work life balance is hard, but individuals who stick it out past a year say you get used to it and make it work. Customer vehicles are totaled more frequently than other insurance agencies from experience with similar damage and no one is ever satisfied with the amounts Progressive is paying.

      Pros

      If you don't have an insurance license they will train you and help you gain one. The training they provide for the insurance test and for the role as a sales consultant is excellent. You don't feel inadequate when you hit the floor to take calls. They care about customer service and don't put emphasis on phone talk time. The managers are understanding and helpful. You can also choose to work remotely. You are rewarded at the end of the year with a gainshare bonus on top of your salary. Over time is always available.

      Cons

      There really isn't any cons. Everything is clear cut. The only reason someone would have a problem is if they don't like repetition , sitting for long hours in front of the computer or if they just don't want to work.

      Flexible work options. Servant leadership model. Company as a whole encourages honesty and integrity.

      Cons

      Salaries could be more competitive with more market, but flexibility and work/life balance make it worthwhile.
