Patriarchal environment from the top down. General acceptance of men’s “right” to exclude and devalue women (comments about women’s morality, excluding women from team meetings and events, virtue signaling/refusing to ride alone in a car with a female coworker).

Management has destroyed the culture in the tech portion of the company. Our teams have become heavy in offshore labor. Two rounds of layoffs. Lack of promotions or recognition. We were forced to ramp up work output which resulted in obvious burnout. No stability in our systems so expect to be notified when you are the on-call engineer. Concerns were voiced through anonymous surveys with typical "We're looking into it" response. It's been a year btw with no changes to in response to surveys. Vague performance metrics. Constant fear of losing your job because you have no metrics to follow. Vague project requirements but still expected to deliver by the deadline.
