Pros

Very flexible company with great benefits. Company who treats you like a valuable asset and not just a number.

Cons

The pay could be better.

Pros

Good benefits and decent pay.

Cons

If you're in a department that they care about, it will be great. If, like me, you're in a department that doesn't matter to the executives whatsoever you will quickly see that it's exactly like every other corporation. Management actively makes decisions that make my position more difficult and don't even get the same benefits as any other operations department. Promotions are only possibly up to a certain level, after that every management position is hired externally.

Pros

This company is amazing to work for, I work from home, you start at 15 dollars an hour but it's so easy to get your monthly bonus which can often be in the thousands of dollars! I am part time 8-12 mon - Fri. We traid off Saturday shifts which are always 6:30-3 but when you work Saturday you get a day off during the week. The company has a wonderful training program that lasted 3 weeks, it can be scary because there is sooo much to learn but trust me it's worth it.

Cons

Dealing with angry customers many times a day. You have to understand though. We deal with people who are behind on their pmts and have past dues on their acct. These people will yell at you and try to claim things that aren't always true. Because they don't want to pay for it. That's the toughest part of working as a CPA agent, undstanding and figuring out when customers are lying or confused about something they don't understand. Or just yelling at you because they need someone to yell at. You have to learn not to take anything personally and to be a good listener because every detail of a customers story counts.
