Pros

If you want a job where you can come and go as you please and not be accountable for anything then this is the place for you.

Cons

Everything. Management is poor. Work is boring. Subject Matter is boring. Hard to believe but their project management is one of the worst I've ever seen.

Pros

Pay used to be good, but salaries have not been adjusted for most roles as the company has evolved over the last few years, so I guess its a "used to be a pro".

Cons

Out of touch executives, YoY increases in revenue while increases don't match inflation or cost of living, increased benefits costs, lack of career progression. Our CEO is not a culture fit, and belongs in venture capital, not the non-profit world. We pay for flights and attendance to balls and dinners so he can wine and dine with celebrities and CEO's, all while the rest of us have to force ourselves to be excited about the one extra pizza a month we can buy with our annual raise. Oh but wait, benefits are more expensive, so 99% of us are losing money every year.

Pros

Benefits, flexibility with WFH setup, talented employees,

Cons

HR appears more focused on minimizing costs than supporting employees. I’ve seen serious issues raised, only to be dismissed or ignored, which has led to talented people leaving the organization. On the Marketing team, if people quit they are rarely replaced. You absorb the work that your former colleagues leave you. Very little opportunities for advancement unless you are a favorited employee.... ironic being a professional development organization. Management is also stretched thin and burned out, which limits their ability to effectively lead or support their teams’ growth. Frequent restructuring adds to the instability, making it difficult to feel secure or confident in the direction here.
