Pros

PMI has good benefits. You get 4 weeks of vacation a year to start. There are lots of opportunities to gain significant experience and to try new things.

Cons

PMI has undergone a lot of changes recently and has new executive management. There will be some adjustments as the new executive team settles in.

Pros

Culture is very friendly. People genuinely try to help each other. PMP certification is the global standard. Nonprofit adds a sense of purpose. New CEO is awesome and very transparent. Very respected female leaders recently promoted to leadership positions. Remote work and a lot of flexibility provided. Global summit is an amazing experience.

Cons

Sometimes operates in silos. Workload can be intense and deadlines very tight at times. Regional model creates complexity.

We are thrilled to hear that you enjoy the friendly and helpful culture and the sense of purpose that comes from working at a mission-driven organization. We also appreciate your comments on our new CEO and the recent promotions of many diverse, high performing leaders within the organization. We understand that the complexity and pace of work can be challenging. That’s why the new structure of our organization is designed to put our community at the center of all we do, improve cross-functional collaboration, and streamline work. Your suggestion regarding more in-person events is noted and we will take your advice into consideration. While remote work, global collaboration, and flexibility have become essential aspects of our work culture, we recognize the value of in-person interactions in fostering a sense of unity.
