      Pros

      Going on 2 decades of employment with Promega. It is an amazing place to work and it is so because of the visions and the philanthropy of the CEO. Bill has always provided Promega employees with exceptional work environment and opportunities for growth. I have watched over a handful of my colleagues leave the company only to come back anywhere from a few months later to several years. That speaks volumes!

      Cons

      Over the years, managers in some areas have decided to hire PhD level scientists overlooking scientists who have niche experience.

      Pros

      All of the people I worked with at Promega were interested in strong relationships and getting a good product out to customers. Technical Support is considered VERY important and this leads to happier customers. Most groups within the organization see career path as a key component to keeping their folks happy.

      Cons

      Promega isn't always the highest paying company in biotech. There is variability in the strength of work-life balance between different areas of the company.
