      Pros

      Good place to get your feet wet in IT on their Help Desk made up of interns, and they are very flexible with school schedules.

      Cons

      Few opportunities to become full-time from the Help Desk.

      Pros

      I've worked at Promega for 25 years, and still love my job. There are lots of health and wellness benefits, excellent workout facilities, challenging research, and gorgeous buildings and landscaping. Very enthusiastic employees, great work/life balance, and good corporate culture.

      Cons

      Fairly flat structure so there's not a lot of room for promotion. If you don't have a PhD, opportunities are more limited.

      * Salary compensation could be higher, but the priceless culture of openness to continuous improvement balances it all out
