Pros

Promega has a lot of good people around the world, genuinely interested in advancing life science research and many who have been there 20+ years. The Madison headquarters is beautiful and everyone is friendly and genuine; most are helpful as well. The company has a strong ESI ethic and was a very early adopter of AI. A lot of smart innovation and quality products. I'd recommend this company to a friend.

Cons

Australia branch is quite small and there's nowhere to advance to. While recent management changes (2024) brought a lot of positive vibes on the surface, the reality was micromanaging and duplicitousness, with transparency being touted as a priority but a lot of closed-door meetings and divisiveness. This made a previously friendly and collaborative small-office environment uncomfortable and working productively untenable.
