      Pros

      I have worked for Prometheus as a Neighbor Ambassador (Leasing consultant/agent) for a year now, and have loved my experience. The benefits are great and the company makes sure to hire amazing people.

      Cons

      The hourly wage is not the best in comparison to other property management companies, but leasing commission definitely helps. Also, when you take the free healthcare and housing discount into consideration, the overall compensation is pretty good. I do wish the housing discount was a little more considering the pricing of Prometheus's apartments, but nevertheless I am grateful. Growth opportunity is scarce in the Portland area.

      Pros

      Prometheus makes a concerted effort to put people first—both the people they employee and the people they serve. Prometheus really does value employees as its #1 resource—with more of an emphasis on career growth and building bench strength than on short-term revenue goals. Prometheus invests in the health and well-being of its workforce by covering 100% of healthcare plans and offering an array of services aimed at supporting and strengthening mental and physical health.

      Cons

      Not necessarily a con … just important to know going in that Prometheus purposely operates unlike most property management companies. Which is another plus in my book. But may take some time getting used to. Prometheus operates by many teams working together towards shared goals. So being highly collaborative is key.
